Buy a Smart Box once (₹5,000), then top up day-credits as you need higher tiers. Mid (₹6,000 for 365 days) and Pro (₹10,500 for 365 days) unlock additional themes, playlists, admins, and storage. Mid and Pro are ad-free. The Smart Box also works on its own with the Free plan.

Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. The change takes effect on your next renewal date.

Day-credits start consuming the moment your Smart Box first powers on, or 3 weeks from the order date — whichever comes first. Until then, your credits sit safely in your account.

You have 21 days from delivery to request a return, and the product must reach us within 21 days of your request. Return the Smart Box, HDMI cable and power cable in good condition and you'll get a full refund of the Smart Box — no restocking fee — plus any remaining day-credits. Use the SimplylocalX On Air web console at console.simplylocalx.com. Upload images, videos, and text posts from any browser. Changes appear on your screen within minutes.

You can upload images (JPG, PNG, WebP), videos (MP4, up to 80 MB), PDFs, and text posts up to 5,000 characters. Instagram Direct to Screen is included on Mid and Pro.

Yes, on the Pro plan. Every Pro board has its own email address — the board's join code followed by @post.simplylocalx.com. Email a photo, video or PDF to it and it plays on that board's screens, usually within seconds. The subject line becomes the post's text, and the body of the email is ignored. You'll find the full address, with a Copy button, in the web console under Board settings → Post by email.

Only the board's owners and admins, sending from the email address on their SLX On Air account. Every email is checked using the sender's own email provider's authentication, so a message with a forged “From” line is refused. Knowing a board's address is not enough to put anything on the screen, and a reply in an email thread is never posted.

Each person can send up to 50 emails an hour, and each board accepts up to 100 posts by email an hour. One email can carry up to 5 photos, videos or PDFs and should stay under 25 MB, because above that most mail apps replace the attachment with a Drive or OneDrive link, which can't be posted. Sending from a “Send mail as” alias isn't accepted yet.

The Ticker is a slim bar of scrolling text along the bottom of your screen, running under your posts — like the news ribbon on a TV channel. It keeps running whichever post is showing, so it suits a standing message: today's offer, opening hours, a phone number. Free boards show SimplylocalX On Air promos; Mid lets you write your own with one live at a time, and Pro rotates up to 5 and adds scroll speed and an ALL-CAPS look. Each message is 10 to 500 characters, and changes reach your screens within moments.

A private board has no location and stays hidden: it never appears in search, in nearby discovery or in any neighbourhood feed, and its posts never enter one either. People reach it with the board's 8-character code, a shared link or an invite, and the owner or admin approves each request — there is no automatic joining. It suits an office, a clinic or a members-only group. A board's visibility is chosen when it's created and can't be changed afterwards.
